6 VOLT BATTERY CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS:
IMPORTANT

Battery charging must be done by an adult. Never allow your child to charge the battery.

While the battery is charging, the charger may feel warm to the touch. This is a normal condition.

Never lift or carry the battery or charger by the wiring or connectors. This can damage the units and possibly caouse a fire. Lift and carry the units ONLY by the cases.

Examine the battery and charger, including the wiring and connectors, for excessive wear or damage each time you charge the battery. If wear or damage is detected, do not attempt to charge the battery until the worn or damaged unit is replaced.

Use of the incorrect type of fuse(15A) or charger when charging the battery can damage the battery and the vehicle, and it could possibly result in an explosion or fire.
BATTERY CHARGING
- Locate the battery under the vehicle seat.

Unplug the battery connector from the vahicle connector.

Plug the battery connector to the charger connector.

Plug the charger into a standard 110V wall outlet. Do not use any extension cords. Ensure the battery is in the upright position when charging.

Allow the battery to charge for 16-18 hours. DO NOT charge the battery over 24 hours.

Disconnect the battery connector from the charger connector, and reconnect it to the vehicle connector.
NOTE
- Charge the battery after each use. Do not allow the battery to run down completely.
- Charge the battery once a month, even if the vehicle is not being used.

Please properly dispose of the battery in accordance with local requirements. Check with your local waste disposal department for proper handling.
WARNING
These batteries and chargers are not compatible with any other brand of rechargable ride-on toy. Use of these items with any other brand can cause potential damage and harm to your toy. Conversely, use of any other brand battery or charger on your Tek Nek 6 volt ride-on toy can cause potential damage and harm to your toy.
